Facing with these new challenges in Chinese market, Shanghai FANUC actively look for a mature, high standardized and modularized MES system, to be a part of its Smart Manufacturing Portfolio, while MPDV China is interested in getting a high-reputation partner to expand business in China as fast as possible. In view of this, both parties started to discuss about the cooperation in order to provide the best solution for common end customers, to help them build up the robust foundation for Smart Manufacturing.
2017年11月3日，MPDV全球董事长Prof. Dr. Kletti与上海发那科机器人有限公司常务副总经理Dr. Shen在上海发那科机器人有限公司会谈，确认未来的一系列合作方向，包括示范线建设、市场推广、商务合作、技术支持和项目实施等。
On Nov. 3rd, 2017, Prof. Dr. Kletti, the president of MPDV Group, paid a visit to Shanghai FANUC, and had a warm meeting with Dr. Shen, the deputy GM of Shanghai FANUC and the Chief Engineer of FANUC Global. The result of the meeting is constructive, describing the bright future of partnership, including building up a Smart Manufacturing reference line at Shanghai FANUC, marketing promotion, commercial cooperation, technical support and project implementation as well.
双方合作的开始是在上海发那科机器人有限公司建设一条控制柜柔性生产线，以示范发那科自动化和MPDV MES高度整合的智能制造概念。生产线由激光切割机、螺柱焊接机、打磨机、点焊/弧焊机以及多台机器人组成。所有生产设备和机器人均为发那科产品。生产线的生产指挥完全由MPDV的HYDRA MES系统接管，覆盖从工单创建到最终成品产出整个制造增值过程。
The starting point is to immediately build up a cabinet production line with high flexibility to show the “Smart Concept” by highly integration of FANUC Automation and MPDV MES. This reference line consists of laser cutting, welding, polishing machines and some handling robots. All machines and robots are made by FANUC. The entire value-added production chain, from creation production order to finished goods, is manageable and controllable by Hydra MES from MPDV,

高度柔性化 / High Flexibility
1.多品种小批量柔性加工，将换线损失降到最小。
Flexibility supports to high-mixed production to reduce the change-over loss.
2.在MES中规划工艺路线，实现在同一条生产线上生产不同尺寸的控制柜。
Production routes are planned in MES to realize that cabinets with various sizes can be produced in same line.
自动化与信息化全集成 / Full integration of automatization and informatization
1.由MES根据工单信息向生产设备自动下达NC程序。
NC program is automatically transferred to machine according to order by MES
2.FANUC设备和机器人与HYDRA MES无缝集成，向MES系统提供信号，自动触发生 产开始和产出报工。
FANUC machines and robots interact with HYDRA MES, automatically trigger production start and order confirmation by counting output.
3.根据前序设备完工信号和工艺路线，通过机器人控制工序之间的物料自动流转 。
Material flow between operations is controlled by MES according to machine signal and production route.
